Laxmi Public School

Laxmi Public School is located at X-20 in the Karkardoma Industrial Area. Being in an industrial zone means there is always something going on around us. You’ll hear trucks and the sound of machines nearby, but once you step inside the gates, it’s all about the students. The building is a sturdy structure, built to last and handle the daily wear and tear of hundreds of kids. We’ve got multiple floors and plenty of classrooms, though they are pretty basic. We don’t go in for expensive furniture or modern art on the walls. It’s mostly just desks, chairs, and blackboards. The staff works hard to keep things orderly despite the busy environment outside. We see a lot of local kids from the neighborhood and the surrounding areas. The morning assembly is usually when the place feels the most crowded. After that, everyone settles into their rooms. We’ve been here at X-20 for a long time, and we’ve seen the industrial area change quite a bit around us. Some shops close, new ones open, but the school stays pretty much the same. It’s a straightforward place. We aren't interested in being the flashiest school in the city. We just provide a place for kids to come and get through their lessons every day. It’s honest work and it keeps us on our toes from the moment the sun comes up until we lock the gates in the afternoon. It is just a part of the local landscape now.
