This office is located at House Number 2, Chh 20 in Vigyan Nagar, Kota. It is actually part of the residence belonging to the Purohit family. Working for Larsen Toubro Ltd from a house makes the whole day feel a bit more relaxed than being in a big glass tower. Kota can get incredibly hot, so we spend a lot of time making sure the coolers are filled with water so we don't melt. The office itself is just a few rooms that have been converted into workspace. We have desks pushed up against the walls and wires running along the floor for the computers. It is a bit cluttered, but we know where everything is. There is a small garden area outside that mostly just has some dusty bushes, but it is nice to look at. We don't have a big sign out front, so you have to look for the house number. The neighbors are mostly families, so it is a quiet street for the most part. We go through a lot of paper and pens every week. It is just a simple, practical way to have a base in Rajasthan. We aren't doing anything flashy here, just keeping up with the schedules and making sure the local paperwork is finished on time. It feels more like a home than an office, which is fine by us.
