Karan Exporters is right in the middle of the action at K-79 Lajpat Nagar Part-2, inside the Central Market. If you’ve ever been to the Central Market, you know it’s packed with people and shops everywhere you look. Being here means there is never a dull moment during the day. The noise from the shoppers and the street vendors is constant, but we’ve learned to work right through it. Our office is tucked behind the main retail areas, so it’s a bit more private once you get inside. We deal with a lot of different items and the inventory changes all the time. There’s always someone coming in to drop off a package or pick something up for a client. The space is filled with the smell of nearby street food and the sound of the crowds outside. We have a small team that handles the orders and manages the stock in the back room. We don’t have a lot of space for fancy furniture, so every inch is used for storage and boxes. Sometimes we have to move stacks of cartons just to get to the back of the room to find a specific file. It’s a hectic way to work, but it keeps us on our toes and the day goes by fast. Lajpat Nagar is a great place to be if you like being in the heart of things. We just do our bit, handle the exports, and try to stay ahead of the daily rush. It is a typical Delhi business.
