Punjabi Suit Wale Pvt. Ltd. is located in Lajpat Nagar 1, specifically in the Old Double Storey buildings at G-21-23. We’ve been here for a good while, and the neighborhood has changed a lot around us. Our shop is spread across these units, filled with fabrics and suits in every stage of being made. It’s a bit of a maze inside with all the racks and cutting tables. We have a few tailors who have worked with us for years, and you can usually hear the sound of their scissors or the hum of a sewing machine from the back room. We don't have a big polished showroom. Instead, we have stacks of cloth that we pull down when someone wants to see a particular color or pattern. It’s a hands-on kind of place. We get a lot of regulars from the local area who just drop in to see what’s new. Sometimes we have tea together while discussing a design. It’s not very formal here. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re usually too busy to worry about that. We focus on the work itself and making sure the stitching is right. It’s a small family-run feel even though we are a private limited company. We just do our thing every day and hope the customers are happy with what they get. It is hard work but we enjoy it.
