Lady Irwin Senior Secondary School

Lady Irwin Senior Secondary School is located on Shrimant Madhav Rao Scindia Marg. It’s a long name for a street, but most people just know where we are. The school has been around for quite a while, and you can see it in the way the walls look and how the trees have grown over the gates. We have a lot of students coming from different parts of the city. The mornings are always a bit of a scramble with buses and cars. Inside, the hallways are long and high-ceilinged. It feels solid, like a place that has seen a lot of history. We don't spend much time on fancy decorations. Most of the walls are covered in old notices or student projects from years ago. The staff room is always full of tea cups and stacks of notebooks that need grading. It’s a lot of work to keep a senior secondary school going, especially one with this many students. We just focus on the daily stuff, like making sure the classes start on time and the labs have what they need. There is always a bit of dust in the corners, but that's just how old buildings are. People around here know the school well. It’s a landmark of sorts on this road. We aren't trying to be anything other than a place where students come to finish their schooling and move on to whatever is next for them. It’s just how things are done here.
