Suketdhir

Suketdhir is located at F-574/B2 on the 2nd Floor in Lado Sarai, along Anuvrat Marg. Lado Sarai is an interesting area with a lot of different things going on. Our place is on the second floor, so you have to head up the stairs to find us. It’s a workspace as much as it is a shop. We have tables for cutting and machines for sewing. It’s often quite noisy with the sound of work being done. We have windows that look out over the street, but we are usually too busy to look out much. We’ve been here for a while and the space has seen a lot of changes. It’s not a polished retail store; it’s more like a workshop where things actually get made. Piles of fabric and patterns are everywhere. Sometimes it looks like a mess, but we know where everything is. A big reception desk isn't something we have here. If you come in, you’ll probably see us working. We just focus on the clothes and getting them finished. It’s a lot of long hours and sometimes we stay late to finish a piece. It’s just a normal part of how we run things. No marketing speak is used here. We are just in Lado Sarai, doing our work every day on the second floor. It's a bit loud with the traffic outside but we're used to it. The stairs keep us fit, I guess.
