Kothari Associates

We operate out of Hno 193 B in Street Number 14, over in Balbir Nagar Extension. This is in Shahdara, part of East Delhi where things are pretty tightly packed. Kothari Associates isn't a big firm with a fancy lobby. It’s basically a converted part of a house. You walk in and there’s a small area with a couple of desks and a bench for people to sit. We have a lot of folders piled up because there’s never enough shelf space. The lighting is just regular tube lights. It’s a bit dim in the back. Outside, the street is narrow, so parking a car is almost impossible. We mostly see neighbors walking their dogs or kids coming home from school. It’s a quiet street for Delhi standards. We make our own tea in the back. There isn't a sign outside that’s very big, just a small one near the gate. We spend our days doing paperwork and answering the phone. The furniture is a mix of things we’ve picked up over time. It’s not a designed office, just a place that happened naturally. We know the people around here. It’s a comfortable spot to work without the pressure of a big commercial district. We just keep things moving at our own pace. Sometimes we have to move boxes around just to find a place to stand, but we manage. It's a simple life here in Shahdara. The fan is always humming in the background and we keep the windows shut when it's dusty.
