You can find us at P-79, Street No. 5 in the Shankar Nagar Extension over in Krishna Nagar. It’s tucked away in the lanes, so if you aren't looking for it, you might miss us. The street is usually full of kids playing or people moving goods on scooters. Our place is basically a working warehouse and office combined. We have boxes stacked up to the ceiling in some parts. It isn't the most organized-looking place, but we know where everything is. We spend our days checking the quality of the goods and getting them packed for export. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting and moving things around. The fans are always humming to keep the heat away, and we usually have the radio playing in the background. We aren't a big company with a board of directors. It’s just a few of us making sure things go out on time. Sometimes the rain floods the street a bit, and we have to be careful with the stock, but that’s part of being in this neighborhood. We’ve been here long enough that we know all the other shop owners on the street. We don’t have a fancy website or a marketing person. We just focus on the orders we have and try to do a decent job every day. It’s a bit cramped, but it’s home for us.
