Pine Exporters

Our place is at A-1/10 Whs in Kirti Nagar. If you know Kirti Nagar, you know it’s the heart of the timber and furniture world, but there’s a lot of other stuff going on here too in the warehouse area. Pine Exporters is situated in one of those big industrial sheds. It’s got high ceilings and a concrete floor that’s seen better days. It can be cold in the winter and like an oven in the summer, but that’s just part of the job. We spend our time managing exports, which means we’re always looking at shipping containers and talking to freight guys. There is a small office partitioned off in the corner where we keep the computer and the paperwork, but most of the action happens on the main floor. We aren't corporate types in suits. We’re usually in jeans, probably with some dust on our shoes. We don't have a mission statement on the wall; we just have a calendar with a lot of deadlines circled in red marker. Every day is about making sure the trucks are loaded and the counts are right. It’s a noisy, busy place with the sound of hammers or forklifts nearby. We’ve been at this Whs address for a long time and we like the grit of Kirti Nagar. It’s where work gets done without any fluff. We just keep our heads down and keep the exports moving out to their destinations every single day.
