Himani Exports

Himani Exports is on the 2nd floor of I-1 in Kirti Nagar. Most people know this part of town for all the furniture shops, but we do our own thing up here. Being on the second floor means we are always climbing stairs, which keeps us moving throughout the day. The office is usually filled up with cardboard boxes and different samples of the things we are exporting. It gets a bit crowded in here, especially when a big shipment arrives and we have to check everything. We have been in Kirti Nagar for a long time and we like the busy feeling of the neighborhood. There is always something happening on the street below. We have a small team of people, and most of us have known each other for a long time. We spend a lot of our time checking the quality of the goods. If something does not look right to us, we do not send it out. It is a lot of looking at very small details and making sure things are packed tight. Sometimes the ceiling fans do not really help with the heat in the summer, so it can get a bit uncomfortable in the afternoons. We do not have a fancy reception area or a lobby. You just walk right into the work area and someone will be there to help you out. We have to handle a lot of paperwork for the customs officials, which is a big part of the job.
