Khushbu Kreation

You can find us at S-428 in Greater Kailash Part-I. It is a busy residential and shopping area, and being on the ground floor means we see a lot of people passing by our window. Khushbu Kreation is a small setup. We have a few racks where we hang our latest work and a big cutting table in the back that always seems to be covered in threads and pins. It isn't a polished showroom with bright spotlights. We use regular tube lights and have a couple of fans that creak a bit when they’re on high speed. We do a lot of our own designing and sewing right here. Sometimes the sewing machines are so loud we can’t hear the phone ringing, which can be a bit annoying. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who handle everything from taking orders to packing them up. The neighbors are nice, and we often share tea in the afternoons. Parking in GK is always a struggle, so we usually tell people to come early if they can. Our walls are covered with sketches and fabric swatches that we’ve pinned up over the months. It looks a bit messy to an outsider, but we know exactly where everything is. We just try to make things that people will actually want to wear and feel comfortable in. It’s a quiet, steady kind of business for us here, and we just keep at it until it is time to go home.
