Rajkamal Overseas

Our office is up on the first floor, number 409, in Katra Maidgran. If you know Khari Baoli, you know how busy it gets around here. Being near Fatehpuri means there’s always a lot of noise and people moving about. Rajkamal Overseas has been in this spot for a good bit of time. It’s a bit of a climb up the stairs, especially if we’re carrying bags or samples, but we’re used to it. The space is filled with piles of folders and things we’ve collected over the years. It’s not the cleanest looking place, but we know where everything is. Khari Baoli is famous for its markets, so there’s a lot of energy right outside our door. Sometimes it’s hard to hear the phone over the sounds of the street, but we make do. We spend a lot of time talking to vendors and checking the quality of what we’re sending out. It’s a hands-on kind of job. We don't have any corporate manuals or fancy titles. We just work together to make sure the day’s list gets finished. Some days the electricity acts up or the narrow lanes get blocked, but that’s just part of being in this part of town. We like it here because it feels real and everyone is working hard. We just keep our heads down and do our part. We aren't doing anything fancy, just moving things from one place to another.
