Khandelwal Traders is situated at Plot No 49/18 in the Assam Timber Market. We are right in the middle of the Main Assam Gali in Nangloi. If you’re coming by public transport, we are quite close to the Rajdhani Park Metro Station. The whole area is dedicated to wood, so the air is always thick with the smell of cut timber and sawdust. Our plot is usually filled with stacks of different types of wood, from rough planks to finished pieces. It’s a noisy, bustling environment with trucks constantly coming and going. We’ve been part of this market for a long time. Our daily routine involves a lot of measuring, cutting, and loading. It’s hard work, and our clothes are usually covered in dust by noon. We have a small office tucked in one corner where we keep our records and share tea with the drivers. We don't have any fancy sales tactics. People come to us because they need wood for their homes or shops, and we show them what we have in stock. The competition in the market is stiff, but we have our regular customers who have been with us for years. We try to be fair and keep our word. It’s a traditional way of doing business in Nangloi, and we are proud to be part of the local trade. There is always wood to be moved and customers to talk to.
