If you find yourself in the Paper Mill Colony of Nishatganj, you will find us at H-1/6. This part of Lucknow has a certain old-world feel to it that you don't really find in the newer developments across the river. The colony is relatively quiet compared to the main market, but you still hear the sounds of the city drifting in over the walls. Our office isn’t anything fancy; it is just a regular building that we have converted into a workspace over time. We have a few rooms filled with desks and cupboards full of old documents and records. The winters here in Lucknow are quite nice, but the summers make the office feel like an oven until we get the coolers running. We spend our days coordinating things and making sure the paperwork is filed correctly. There is a small shop nearby where we get our morning samosas and chai, and that is usually when the real planning for the day happens. We don’t have a corporate dress code or anything like that. People just wear what is comfortable and get on with their work. The walls are a bit faded, and some of the furniture has definitely seen better days, but it is a functional place where everyone knows their role. We have been at this address for a good while now and we have grown used to the rhythm of the neighborhood.
