Our little shop is over in the Sector 5 Market in Dwarka. We’re pretty easy to find if you head toward Lovely Chowk. It’s a local market, so it’s always got that neighborhood feel where everyone seems to know everyone else. We deal in handicrafts, so the place is always full of boxes and packing straw. It’s never really tidy, but we think it has character. We spend most of our time unboxing new items or wrapping things up for people to take home. The shop has these old metal shutters that are a bit heavy to lift in the morning. We don’t have a big team, just a couple of us who take turns being here. Sometimes the market gets very quiet during the afternoon heat, and that’s when we get some cleaning done or just sit and have tea. Then in the evenings, Lovely Chowk gets busy with people coming home from work, and the shop fills up again. We don't do any big promotions or sales events. If someone likes what they see in the window, they come in. It’s a straightforward way of doing things. We try to keep a variety of things on the shelves, even if it makes the aisles a bit narrow. It’s a cozy space, maybe a bit too cozy sometimes, but it’s where we spend all our time. We like being part of the Dwarka community.
