Creative Garh

Our little spot is at Shop No- 37-A in Shahpurjat. It’s quite close to the Siri Fort Auditorium, which makes it easy for people to find us. Shahpurjat is always crowded and full of life, so there is never a quiet moment outside the door. Inside Creative Garh, things are usually a bit cluttered with whatever we are working on at the time. We have fabrics, sketches, and bits of thread everywhere. It is not a big showroom or anything like that. It is just a workspace where things actually happen. Sometimes the tea guy comes by twice a day, and that is usually the highlight when we are stuck on a design. The walls are a bit plain, but the work is what matters. We spend a lot of hours sitting at the tables. The lighting isn't always perfect, but we make do. Being near the auditorium means there is always traffic, but we are used to the noise by now. We don't have a big team, just a few of us doing what needs to be done. We stay late most nights when there is a deadline. It's just a regular shop where we try to keep things moving. You can see the stairs are a bit narrow when you come in. We’ve been in this part of Shahpurjat for some time now and it feels like home to us.
