Our office for Kashmir Fab-styles Pvt. Ltd. is over in E-23, Lajpat Nagar -iii. This part of Delhi is always moving, and there is never a dull moment on the street outside. We’ve been set up in this building for a good number of years. Even though it’s a private limited company, it doesn't really feel like a big corporate office when you walk in. It’s mostly just desks, piles of papers, and samples of different styles we are working on. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to suppliers and checking on orders. The space is a bit tight because we have so many things stored in the corners and on top of the cupboards. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit in the afternoon, but we just wait it out and get back to work once it comes back. We don't have a fancy reception area with a person sitting there all day. Usually, whoever is closest to the door just lets people in when they knock. Lajpat Nagar is a great place to be because everything you need is right nearby, even if the parking is a total nightmare most days. We usually walk to get some lunch from the food stalls around the corner. It's a busy atmosphere and we just try to keep up with the pace of the market. We have a small team here and everyone knows their job.
