Shagoon Emporium

You can find Shagoon Emporium over at No. 2320-21 on Arya Samaj Road in Karol Bagh. If you know Delhi, you know how crowded Karol Bagh gets, especially on the weekends. Our shop is right in the middle of all that noise and energy. We have two units, 2320 and 2321, so there is a decent amount of space, but it still feels full once we get the new stock in. There is always someone walking past the door, and the sound of rickshaws and cars never really stops until late at night. Inside, we try to keep things in some kind of order, but with so many items, it is a constant job. The walls are lined with glass cases and shelves. We drink a lot of tea while we work, usually ordering from the stall just down the street. The air conditioner struggles a bit when the door is constantly opening and closing, but it keeps the dust off the goods mostly. It is a long day starting from the morning and going until the shutters come down at night. We see all kinds of people here, from locals to tourists who got lost looking for the main market. The floors are marble but they get scuffed up pretty fast with all the boots and sandals coming through. We don't use any fancy talk, we just show people what we have on the shelves and hope they find what they need.
