Jayco Diagold Jewels Private Limited

Our shop is right on Bank Street in Karol Bagh. If you’ve ever been to this part of Delhi, you know how packed it gets. We occupy rooms 2115 and 2116. Jayco Diagold Jewels has been here for a long time. We deal with gold and diamonds, but it’s a very hands-on process. Most afternoons are spent looking at stones under the glass and talking to customers who come in looking for something for a wedding or a gift. It’s not like those big mall stores. It’s more traditional. We have regulars who have been coming to us for years. They know where we sit and they know we’ll give them a straight answer about the weight or the price. Sometimes the street outside is so loud we have to shout a bit, but that’s just Karol Bagh for you. Keeping the counters clean and the displays organized is a constant job. It’s a lot of responsibility handling these kinds of items. We don't have a PR team or anyone writing fancy speeches for us. We just open the shutters in the morning and wait for the first customer. My uncle started this, and we just kept it going. We check the gold prices every day on the news. It’s a lot of small details that matter in this trade. We just try to be helpful and keep the business running smoothly. It’s honest work in a very busy market. We like being part of the Bank Street community.
