Ab Jewels

Our place is right there at number 33/3158 in Beadon Pura. If you know Karol Bagh, you know how busy it gets with all the people walking around and the bikes honking. We have been sitting in this spot for a while now. The shop isn't huge, but it fits what we need. Most days start with opening the shutters and cleaning the glass cases because the dust here never really stops. We spend a lot of time looking at small pieces and talking to people who wander in from the street. Some people are looking for something specific, and others just want to see what is new on the shelves. It’s a lot of sitting and waiting sometimes, then suddenly it gets very crowded. We don’t have fancy chairs or a big reception area. It is just us and the jewelry. The light in the back of the shop is a bit dim, so we usually work near the front where the sun hits the floor. My cousin helps out when things get busy during the festival times. We keep a ledger for everything and try to stay organized, even though the desk is always covered in papers and small boxes. It’s just a normal business day for us. We drink tea from the stall nearby about three times a day. That is basically how things go here at Ab Jewels. We don't do anything too complicated, just stay open and do the work. It gets loud in the afternoon, but we are used to it.
