About Kamala Nehru College – Education in New Delhi
You can find us on August Kranti Marg in New Delhi. It’s a busy road, and the college gate is a familiar sight for anyone living in this part of the city. The campus has a lot of greenery, which is nice given how much traffic is right outside. The buildings are older, made of red brick, and they have a lot of character. We have long hallways that get quite crowded when the classes change. The canteen is usually the loudest part of the place, filled with students and the smell of fried snacks. We have a big library, though finding a quiet seat can be a challenge during finals. The office is always buzzing with people asking about forms and deadlines. We use a lot of paper despite everything moving online. It’s a lively atmosphere every single day. We don't have the newest glass buildings like the private universities, but our rooms are spacious and have big windows. The grass in the gardens is where most people hang out during the winter sun. It’s a practical place for learning and meeting friends. The staff here has been around for a long time, so we know the quirks of the plumbing and the best spots for shade. It's just a busy Delhi college. People come and go all day, and there is always something happening in the common rooms. It is a bit worn out.
