Kamal Model School

Located over in K-1 Extension, Mohan Garden, our school is a busy place. If you walk down the main road near the school, you’ll hear the teachers talking and the kids shouting during their lunch hour. Kamal Model School has been part of this area for quite some time. The building itself is tucked away a bit, so it stays away from the heaviest traffic. We have a lot of desks that have seen better days, but they work just fine for the students. Every morning, the gates open and the street fills up with uniforms. We spend a lot of time making sure the chalkboards are clean and the registers are updated. There is a small courtyard where we gather for the morning assembly. It gets quite crowded when everyone is there at once. The staff mostly lives nearby, so we all know the local shortcuts and which shops have the best snacks for the afternoon break. It is just a normal school day here. We don't have anything too flashy. The classrooms have fans that hum all day long. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just open the windows wider. We focus on the books and the exams. Parents stop by the office to ask about grades or pay fees, and we chat for a minute before they head back out. It's a simple routine that we follow from Monday to Saturday without much fuss.
