K. 2 K. Designs

We operate K. 2 K. Designs out of a small space at 14 Shivalik Apartment, 105 I. P. Extension. It is more of a workspace than a store. We have sketches and fabric samples spread across the tables most of the time. I. P. Extension is a residential area, so it is fairly quiet, which is good for when we need to focus on a new drawing. We started this because we liked making things look different. It is not a big team, just a couple of us who know how to put a design together. Sometimes the ideas do not come easy, and we end up staring at a blank page for hours. Other times, we are working late into the night because a deadline is coming up fast. The apartment is a bit small for all the gear we have, but we make it work. We do not have any flashy marketing or a big sign outside. Usually, people find us because someone they know told them about our work. It is a very simple setup. We drink a lot of coffee and try to keep the place from getting too messy, though we usually fail at that. It is just how it goes when you are busy creating things. We are just regular people trying to make a living doing something we actually enjoy. Sometimes the neighbor's dog barks too much, but it's okay.
