Our place is over in Model Town II, at K-2/13A. It’s a quieter area compared to the big markets, which is nice for focusing on what we do. We deal with seeds. It might sound simple, but there’s a lot to it. We have to keep track of what variety works best in different soils and how the weather is going to affect the next planting. The office is just a regular room with some shelves and a big table where we sort things out. We don’t have a big sign or anything flashy. Most people who come here already know who we are. We’ve been at this for a while, so we have our own way of doing things. It’s not always the fastest way, but it works for us. We spend a lot of time talking to growers and suppliers. Sometimes the phone doesn’t stop ringing, and other times it’s dead quiet. We just take it as it comes. The neighborhood is good, easy enough to get to. We usually have a pot of tea going for whoever drops by. It’s a small operation, just a few of us making sure the orders are correct and the seeds are handled right. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to provide good seeds to the people who need them. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy through the seasons. We just enjoy the steady pace.
