You can find us on the second floor of a building at Plot No. 4965/206 in Sirkiwalan. This is deep in the Hauz Qazi area, which is one of those old parts of Delhi where the lanes are narrow and always full of people. We deal in all kinds of seeds for farming. The office isn't very large, and it’s usually packed with sample bags and ledgers. To get to us, you have to navigate the busy market streets and then climb up the stairs. It’s quite a workout if you’re doing it multiple times a day. The air around here smells like old stone and sometimes the faint scent of dried grain. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to growers and suppliers from different states. It gets very loud outside with all the rickshaws and vendors, but we just shut the door and get on with our work. We’ve been here for a long time, so we know most of the other shopkeepers in the lane. It’s not a polished corporate office. It’s more of a practical place where we keep track of seed varieties and shipping dates. Sometimes the power goes out and we just keep working by the window light. It’s a traditional way of doing business, face-to-face or over a quick call. We like being in the heart of the trade district.
