Jef Dental Clinic

Being over here at P-37 A in the MES Officer Enclave, things are a bit different than the rest of the city. Jef Dental Clinic sits on Kotwali Road in Delhi Cantt, so it’s usually pretty orderly outside. Inside, it’s mostly the sound of the drills and people trying to talk with their mouths full of cotton. It’s a dental office, so nobody is ever really thrilled to be here, but we try to make it as alright as possible. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but they’re clean enough for now. We spend most of the day looking at teeth and telling people to floss more, even though we know most of them won’t. The chairs are comfortable enough, I guess. Some of the equipment is newer than the rest. On rainy days, the floor gets a bit muddy from people walking in from the road, so we spend a lot of time with the mop. It’s a steady job. We see a lot of families from the enclave and some folks who travel a bit further because they know the way here. We don't have a big sign out front, just enough so you don't miss the turn. It’s just a regular clinic where we fix what’s hurting. Sometimes the scheduling gets a bit messy when someone shows up late, but we manage to get through the day eventually.
