Roop Rang

Roop Rang is located at Shop No. 13 in the B-Block Community Centre in Janak Puri. It’s a pretty easy place to find if you know the area. We’ve been here in Janak Puri for quite a while now. The community center has a lot of foot traffic, so we see all kinds of people every day. Our shop isn't huge, but it fits everything we need. We sell various types of clothes and fabrics. Most days, it’s just the usual routine of opening up, tidying the racks, and waiting for the first customer to come by. We don't have any big corporate goals. We just want to keep the shop running and make sure we have what people are looking for. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when the new stock arrives and we have to find space for it all. The shelves get pretty packed. We spend a lot of time chatting with the regulars. That’s the nice thing about being in a community center; you get to know the neighbors. It’s not a high-pressure environment. We just do our work, fold the clothes, and handle the billing. Sometimes the power goes out or it gets too hot, but that’s just part of having a shop here. It’s a simple, local business that’s been part of the block for years. We aren't trying to be anything we're not.
