Sector 5 in Rohini is an institutional area, which means we are surrounded by other schools and offices. Our school is located at number 3. It’s a fairly big plot. You’ll see the buses coming in and out of the main gate every morning and afternoon. The playground is probably the most popular spot on the property. It gets used constantly for sports and drills. Inside the building, the hallways are wide, but they still get crowded the second the bell rings. We have a science lab and a computer room where the students like to spend their time. The office is always a hub of activity with phones ringing and people moving papers around. It’s definitely not a quiet environment. Between play rehearsals and students working on posters in the hall, there is always noise. Because of the Delhi heat, we have water coolers placed everywhere for the kids. Our uniforms are a familiar sight around the sector. We don't put money into glossy brochures or big ads. The focus is simply on keeping the classes moving and making sure teachers have what they need. It’s a functional, busy school that helps out a lot of families from the surrounding area. There is always something that needs fixing, but we just get to it when we can. It’s a solid routine that we've followed for many years now without much change. We just keep our heads down and do the work required.
