Insurance Agent

If you're looking for us, we’re on the top floor at A-2/41 in Phase-1. Being an Insurance Agent means we spend a lot of time talking to people about their lives and their stuff. It’s not the most exciting job in the world, but it’s important. Our office is up a few flights of stairs, so we get our exercise in every day. It’s a bit hot up here in the summer, but we have a decent cooler that keeps things bearable. We have stacks of folders for all our clients, and we try to keep them organized by name and year. Sometimes it feels like we’re drowning in paper, especially when the regulations change and we have to update everything. We don't have a big corporate backer or anything; it’s just us working independently. We spend a lot of time on the phone explaining policies and helping people fill out forms. People come to us when things go wrong, so we try to be a calm presence. We don't use all that confusing insurance lingo unless we absolutely have to. We’d rather just explain things in plain English. The view from the top floor is actually pretty good, you can see quite a bit of the neighborhood from the balcony. It’s a quiet place to work, and we like the independence of it all without needing any fancy titles.
