You can find us at B-159 in Fateh Nagar, right near the Tilak Nagar post office. It’s a familiar spot for a lot of people around here in New Delhi. Working at Anand Rathi Insurance Broking Ltd. means a lot of time spent on the phone or going through stacks of forms. Insurance isn't the most exciting thing to talk about, we know that. But it's what we do every day. We help people look at their options without making it too complicated. The office is usually humming with the sound of computers and people talking. Sometimes it feels like we’re drowning in paperwork, but we manage to keep it all straight. We’ve been in this 110018 neighborhood for a good stretch of time now. The local tea stall guy knows all of us by name. It’s a regular community vibe here. We don't use big words to try and confuse anyone. If someone has a question about a policy, we just explain it the way we’d explain it to our own families. It’s a lot of back-and-forth with different companies, and we just try to keep everything moving. It’s just us, working away in Fateh Nagar, trying to make sense of all the rules and numbers for the people who come to see us. We close up when the work is finished, usually around dinner time. It’s just how we get by.
