Tata Aig

Tata Aig is based over here in Vikas Puri at KG-III/ 165. If you know this part of New Delhi 110018, you know it’s a mix of houses and small businesses. Our office is right in that mix. We spend our days dealing with insurance papers and talking to folks who have had something go wrong. It’s not always easy work because people are often stressed when they come to see us. The office is pretty basic, just some desks, chairs, and filing cabinets that are starting to get full. We don’t have those fancy coffee machines or lounge areas you see on TV. Usually, we just have our tea at the desk and keep typing away. There is a lot of checking and double-checking of forms to make sure everything is right for the clients. The street outside can get a bit congested in the evenings, but it’s a good spot to be. We have been here for a while and the staff knows the neighborhood pretty well. We aren’t trying to sell anyone anything they don’t need; we just explain how the policies work and help with the claims when they come in. It’s a lot of paperwork and phone calls, but that’s the nature of the job. We just try to be helpful and get through the stack of files before the day ends. It’s a simple, honest way to work and we just focus on doing our jobs as best we can.
