Our office is located at Ba/9A in the D.D.A. Flats in Munirka, New Delhi. It’s a residential neighborhood, so it feels very different from a standard commercial district. We are on the ground floor, which makes it easy for people to just drop by. The space is filled with desks where the engineers and designers sit with their computers. We have a lot of blueprints and technical drawings lying around, sometimes stacked on the floor when we run out of shelf space. Being in a D.D.A. flat means the rooms are a specific size, and we’ve had to be clever about how we fit all our equipment in. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze sometimes when the whole team is in. Outside, you can hear the kids playing or the local vegetable sellers calling out. It gives the workplace a very local, community feeling. We don't have a big corporate lobby or a fancy sign. Most of the people we work with are used to the Munirka area and know how to navigate the blocks to find us. The walls are a plain white, and we have some basic fluorescent lights that we keep on all day. We spend most of our time staring at screens or talking over designs. It’s a quiet, steady kind of place where we just focus on the engineering side of things. We’ve been here for years and it suits us fine.
