Indian Army (Engineers)

We've been at Rock View for a while now. Most people know the AF Station Palam area, and that's where you'll find us at G-456. Being part of the Engineers, there is always something to fix or look at. It's busy here in New Delhi, but we manage. The team just gets on with the day-to-day work. It isn't anything fancy, just standard stuff you'd expect from an engineering unit. Sometimes it gets a bit loud with the planes nearby, but you get used to that after a week. We handle the technical bits and pieces. It’s mostly just making sure things stay standing and the lights stay on. We aren't trying to sell you anything or make a big deal out of it. It’s just the job. People come and go through the gate, and we just keep the maintenance side of things moving along. If you’re looking for us, we’re just tucked away in the corner of the station. It’s a practical place, lots of tools lying around and old paperwork on the desks. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the projects pile up. That’s just how it goes in a place like this. We just show up and do what needs doing every morning until it's time to head home. The heat in Delhi can be a bit much in the summer, but the office at G-456 stays relatively cool. We've got a small crew here, and everyone knows their role well. It’s a steady pace, nothing like those corporate offices in the city center. We just keep our heads down and focus on the tasks at hand.
