You can find Indexports down in the basement at III-F/3 in Lajpat Nagar - 3. It’s a quiet spot away from the main shopping crowds of the market, which is nice when we need to concentrate. Working out of a basement has its quirks, like it stays a bit cooler in the summer but you definitely lose track of time because there aren't many windows. We’ve been here for a while now, just managing our export business without much fanfare. It’s mostly just a few desks, some filing cabinets, and a lot of coffee being drank throughout the day. Lajpat Nagar is a great area because you can find almost anything you need just a few streets away. We handle a lot of different types of goods, so our days are never really the same. One day it's all about textile samples, and the next we are looking at metal parts. We don't try to make it sound more complicated than it is. We buy things, we sell things, and we make sure they get to where they're supposed to go. Sometimes the logistics are a headache, and we have to spend hours on the phone trying to find a lost crate. It’s just part of the deal. We aren't a big corporation with fancy titles; we just do the work and try to keep our heads down. It’s a simple life and a simple business. We just make sure the boxes get shipped.
