Our shop is located at Plot No. 2323 right in the middle of the Main Market in Mandi. It gets really busy around here, especially with the subzi market right across from us at Das Medicine. You might find it a bit cramped with all the people and carts moving about near Club Tower. Inder Building Material Store & Suppliers has been a part of this market for a long time. We handle a lot of different supplies that builders and local homeowners need. It’s a lot of coordination with the trucks coming in and out of the mandi area. Sometimes the noise is a bit much but that’s just how the market is. We spend most of our time checking inventory or talking to the drivers. It’s a family-run kind of place, so there isn’t much formality. We just write things down in our books and make sure the orders are right. If you’re coming from the tower side, just look for the stacks of supplies. We stay open pretty regular hours unless there’s a big festival or something. The floor is usually covered in dust from the cement bags, so do not wear your best shoes if you come by. We just focus on getting the materials to where they need to go without making a big fuss about it. That is how we have always done things here. It is a loud place but we like being in the center of the action.
