Ies Academy

If you walk around Jia Sarai near Hauz Khas, you’ll eventually pass by number 25 where Ies Academy is located. This area is always full of students, so there is a lot of energy around. We’ve been set up here for a good bit of time now. It’s not a fancy place, just some rooms and desks where people come to study and learn things. Being in Hauz Khas means it’s pretty central, but Jia Sarai has its own specific vibe. It can get pretty crowded on the narrow streets. We don’t really go for big signs or loud promotions. People usually hear about us from their friends or classmates. We spend our days mostly helping folks get ready for their exams. There’s usually a lot of paper and books lying around the office. We try to keep the atmosphere quiet enough for studying, though the noise from the street sometimes drifts in. It’s a practical setup. We aren’t trying to be some high-tech corporate center. We just provide the space and the help that’s needed for the students who come through the door. Some of us have been here for years, watching different groups of people come and go. It’s a busy life in this part of Delhi. We just focus on the daily tasks and making sure the students have what they need. It’s honest work and we like being part of the Jia Sarai community. Our staff knows the local tea stalls and the best shortcuts to avoid the main traffic.
