I Max Abacus Academy

We’ve been running I Max Abacus Academy for a while now over here at 9/204 in Lakshmi Nagar. It’s a pretty busy spot with kids coming in and out most afternoons after their regular school is done. The place isn't fancy, just some tables and chairs where we get to work on math problems and those abacus frames. You can usually hear the clicking of the beads from the street if the windows are open. Most people in the neighborhood know where we are because we’re right in the middle of the residential area. It gets a bit loud when the sessions end and parents are waiting outside on the street. We try to keep things organized but with children, there’s always a bit of chaos. Some of the older kids help the younger ones when they get stuck on a calculation. It's just a local place where we spend our days looking at numbers. The fans hum in the background and we have a water cooler in the corner that everyone uses. We don't have a big front office or anything like that. People just walk in through the main door. It’s a simple setup but it works for what we do here. Sometimes we have to move the benches around to make more space for a bigger group. It’s mostly just us doing our thing day in and day out in Lakshmi Nagar. There’s usually a pile of bags by the door and a few umbrellas if it’s raining.
