Tucked away in Sector 1 of Rohini, specifically in the Avantika area, our school is a familiar sight for the neighbors. It’s located at B 98, down one of the lanes near Gali No that stays pretty busy with local life. This part of Delhi - 110085 is packed with houses and small shops, so the school fits right in. We aren't one of those massive institutions with sprawling fields; we are a neighborhood school through and through. The building is a few stories high and has been here long enough that the walls could use a bit of fresh paint here and there. Every morning, parents drop their kids off at the gate before heading to work. You can hear the morning assembly from the street if you’re walking by. The classrooms are filled with wooden desks and charts on the walls that the kids made. It’s a simple setup. We spend a lot of time on the basics, making sure the kids understand their math and languages. During the lunch break, the place gets loud, as you’d expect with so many children in one spot. The staff room is usually a hub of activity with teachers grading papers or drinking tea. Being in Rohini Sector 1 means we are close to everything. We don't try to be anything we aren't. It’s just a place for the local children to get their schooling done. The routine is steady, and we like it that way. We just keep the doors open and the lessons going year after year.
