Hira Lall & Son Exports Pvt. Ltd. is located at No. 20 in the East Park Area, right across from Ajmal Khan Park in Karol Bagh. It is actually a nice spot because we can see the trees in the park from our front door. Karol Bagh is always full of people and traffic, but our specific street is a little bit quieter than the main markets. This business has been in our family for a very long time. My father was the one who really built it up, and now I am the one handling the day-to-day operations. We handle a lot of different exports, mostly things made of metal or wood. The office still has some of the original furniture from many years ago. We have never felt the need to change it because it still works just fine for our needs. We spend our days talking to suppliers and making sure our containers are booked on time. Sometimes things go wrong at the shipping port and we have to spend the whole day on the phone trying to fix the mess. That is just part of the trade we are in. We have a small staff and we all know each other very well. We do not use any of that fancy corporate talk or slogans. We just focus on getting the products from one place to another. The area has changed a lot, but our office feels the same.
