High School Barela Ghansor

If you walk down Street Number 4 in Yamuna Vihar, you will find us at J-67. High School Barela Ghansor is situated right in the middle of this residential area. It is a bit of a tight spot with the narrow streets and motorcycles parked everywhere outside. The school building has seen a lot of students pass through its doors over the years. We have basic classrooms with benches that have been scratched by generations of kids. There is nothing very fancy about our setup. We have a small office where we keep all the records and files in big steel cupboards that rattle when you open them. The morning starts early with students walking in from the nearby blocks. You can hear the sounds of the neighborhood all day, from the street vendors to the traffic on the main road not far away. We do our best to keep the place organized despite the limited space we have. The teachers here mostly live nearby, so it is a very local atmosphere. We spend a lot of time on the usual school stuff like grading papers and keeping the attendance registers updated. During the summer, the fans run constantly to keep the heat away. It gets quite busy during the exam season when everyone is a bit more stressed than usual. It is just a regular school where we try to get things done every day without much fuss or any big bells and whistles.
