High School Baharpura

You can find High School Baharpura right on the 100 Feet Road in Shahdara. It is a very noisy part of Delhi because of all the heavy trucks and cars passing by at all hours. The school is tucked in right there, and sometimes the dust from the road gets into the classrooms if the windows are left open for too long. We have a small entrance that leads into the main area where the kids gather for their morning routine and assembly. Most of the families in this part of Shahdara know us well because their older children or even they themselves went here years ago. The desks are a bit scratched up and the chalkboards are getting a bit grey and worn out, but they still work fine for what we need to do. Our staff room is just a small place where we keep our bags and have our lunch together. It’s not very big, but it’s where most of the daily planning happens. The kids are usually quite energetic, running around the corridors during the short breaks or after their exams. We don't have a huge playground for them, but there is enough space for them to move around. It feels very much like a neighborhood school where people just walk in to talk about their kids’ progress without making much of a fuss. The 110032 area is always moving and rushing, and we are just another part of that daily life.
