Hebran Mission School

Hebran Mission School is tucked away on the second floor of C 15 in Amar Colony. This is right in the Lajpat Nagar area of Delhi, which most people know is one of the most crowded and energetic parts of the city. Being on the second floor means we are a bit removed from the immediate chaos of the street, but you can still hear the traffic and the shoppers below. The 110024 area is famous for its markets and food, and our school is right in the middle of all that. We don’t have a big yard or a sprawling campus. It’s an urban school through and through. You have to walk up the stairs to get to us. The rooms are filled with desks and we try to keep things organized despite the limited space. It’s a mission school, so the atmosphere is quite grounded. We don’t have big budgets for fancy decorations or marketing campaigns. Most of our students come from the local families living in and around Lajpat Nagar. We spend our time on the usual school tasks like grading papers and managing the daily schedule. It’s a simple operation at C 15. The sun hits the second-floor windows in the afternoon, making it quite bright. We just keep the fans running and stay focused on the work. It’s a very typical Delhi school experience, right in the heart of Amar Colony.
