Hearty Paws Pet Clinic

Our pet clinic is located at K-9 in BK Dutt Colony, right along Karbala Lane. If you are taking the metro, we are just near Jor Bagh Metro Station at Gate Number 1. Being a vet clinic, the place is rarely ever silent. There is usually a dog waiting to be seen or a cat making noise in its carrier. We have a small exam table and shelves stocked with various pet medicines and some bags of kibble. The floor gets a lot of wear and tear from all the animals coming in and out, so we are constantly cleaning up. Jor Bagh is a nice, relatively green area of Delhi, but our lane stays pretty busy with local traffic. We see everything from tiny puppies to older dogs that have been around the colony for years. The smell of the clinic is a mix of disinfectant and animals, which is just how it is. We have a small desk for paperwork and a bench for owners to sit on while they wait. It’s a practical setup meant for taking care of animals, not for looking pretty. Sometimes the animals are scared, so we spend a lot of time just trying to keep things calm. The staff lives nearby, so we know the local strays too. It’s a busy life, managing the appointments and dealing with whatever emergency walks in the door.
