Headmaster, Krv Middle School. is located right in Rohini Avantika. It’s one of those parts of Delhi that feels very established. The school is a middle school, so we deal with kids who are just starting to grow up. The Headmaster stays quite busy with the administrative side of things, usually tucked away in an office that’s seen a lot of years. Rohini is a big place, but Avantika has its own feel to it. The 110085 area is mostly residential, so many of our students just walk from the nearby blocks. We don’t have a massive courtyard, but there’s enough room for the daily assembly. The building is sturdy and does its job. People in the area know us simply as the school in Avantika. We don’t go out of our way to sound impressive. It is a government-managed middle school, so things are done by the book. There are a lot of forms to sign and registers to keep track of every single day. You’ll see the parents standing outside the gate in the afternoons, waiting for the final bell. It’s a very normal scene. We just focus on keeping the classes running and making sure the building is safe. There are no fancy programs or high-tech setups here, just books and teachers and the local kids from Rohini. It’s a predictable, steady kind of place to be for everyone involved in the daily grind.
