Paddy Fashions

This version of Paddy Fashions is located simply at 189. We don’t have a fancy street name or a big market title to go with it, just the number. It’s a straightforward place where we do our work. Inside, it’s mostly just rows of machines and tables piled high with different types of cloth. We don’t spend much time worrying about how the place looks to outsiders. As long as there is enough light to see what we are doing and the machines are running, we are happy enough. It can get pretty loud when everyone is working at once, but that’s just the sound of things getting done. We have a routine that hasn’t changed much over the years. We show up, have some tea, and then get started on whatever orders are sitting on the desk. Being at 189 means we are easy to find if you know what you are looking for, but we aren't the type of business that tries to grab everyone's attention with big signs. It’s just a solid, old-fashioned workspace. Sometimes the delivery trucks have a bit of trouble finding the right door because the number is small, but they usually figure it out. We just keep our heads down and focus on the garments. It’s a simple life at 189, and we like it that way.
