Sanskriti New Delhi

If you look for 28 A- 10 Jia Sarai Hauz Khas, you will find us there. It’s a very crowded part of New Delhi. The lanes are narrow and there are always students walking around because of all the coaching centers nearby. Sanskriti New Delhi is situated in one of those buildings where the stairs are quite steep. We have a few desks and a lot of paper and samples lying around everywhere. It’s a bit messy if I am being honest, but we know where everything is. The tea man comes around twice a day and we always get two cups. Hauz Khas is a place that never really sleeps, so there is always a low hum of noise coming from outside. Our window doesn't show much, just the wall of the next building, but it lets in a little bit of sunlight in the morning. We spend the whole day answering calls and looking at different designs. The internet goes out sometimes when it rains hard, and then we just sit and talk until it comes back on. It is a small space for the amount of work we do, but we make it work somehow. We’ve grown used to the cramped feeling of Jia Sarai. Most of the people around here are regulars, so we recognize the faces of the shopkeepers on the ground floor. It’s just our daily life in this little corner of the city. We keep the door open to let some air circulate when it's not too dusty outside.
