Samridh Designer Collections

You can find us at No. 24/1 in Hauz Khas Village. If you know the area, you know it’s a maze of narrow lanes and old buildings mixed with new shops. Samridh Designer Collections is tucked away in one of those spots where you might miss it if you’re walking too fast. It’s not a huge showroom with bright lights. Instead, it’s a cozy space with a lot of fabric everywhere. We have some racks that we built ourselves and a small mirror in the corner that’s been there since day one. The village has a certain energy that keeps us going, even on the slow days when nobody walks in. We spend those hours fixing things or sorting through the latest fabrics we’ve brought in. The walls are painted a simple white, but they’re covered in sketches and notes we’ve pinned up. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty because of the construction nearby, so we’re always wiping down the surfaces. We don’t have a big marketing budget or a team of experts. It’s just a few of us who enjoy making clothes and seeing how they look on real people. We drink a lot of coffee from the place around the corner and spend our lunch breaks watching the tourists wander around the ruins. It’s a decent way to spend the day, and we’re happy to be part of the community here in the village.
