Hashrawbari L.P School

Our school, Hashrawbari L.P School, is situated at 5C/7 on New Rohtak Road in Karol Bagh. This part of Delhi is always moving, with a lot of shops, markets, and traffic constantly passing by outside our windows. The school is an older building that has seen many years of students passing through its doors and moving on. It’s a lower primary school, so we deal with the very young ones who are just starting out with their education. The classrooms are very basic, with wooden desks and benches that have been around for a long time. We don't have air conditioning or anything fancy like that, just the ceiling fans and open doors to keep things cool. The noise from New Rohtak Road is a constant background hum that never really stops, but the kids and teachers have gotten used to it over the years. We focus on the fundamental things like reading, writing, and simple math. It’s a community-based place where the local shopkeepers and residents send their children. Sometimes the walls get a bit dusty from all the traffic on the road, so we have to clean quite often to keep it decent. There’s a small courtyard where the kids gather for a bit of sun during the winter months. We don't have a big budget for fancy equipment, so we make do with what we have and focus on the daily teaching. It’s a humble setup for everyone who comes here. We just keep going day after day.
