Our office and facility is located at Plot No A/61 in Sector 10. We deal with seeds, which is a lot more paperwork and technical stuff than people might think. It’s not just about bags of grain. We have to keep track of batches, testing, and distribution schedules. The building itself is pretty functional. No one really spent money on making it look pretty. It’s just desks, filing cabinets, and storage areas. We have people coming in from different parts of the state looking for specific types of seeds for their planting seasons. It gets really busy during certain times of the year, and then it’s relatively quiet during others. We have a small staff who have been working with seeds for a long time. They know the difference between the varieties just by looking at them. Sometimes there are delays with the shipments or issues with the weather that affect the stock, but we deal with it as it comes. We aren't trying to sell anyone a dream. We just provide the seeds that are needed for the farms. It’s practical work. We spend our days checking ledgers and making sure the storage stays dry. It’s a lot of responsibility, but we just take it one day at a time here in Sector 10. It is a slow process sometimes, but we keep the records straight and the floors swept.
