You can find us at B1/632 in Janakpuri. It is a residential block, so the environment is a bit quieter than the main roads of Delhi. The school is basically a large house that has been converted over the years to fit all the students. We have been here for a long time, and many people in Janakpuri know us well. It’s a simple setup. We don't have any of those modern glass buildings. Instead, we have thick walls and rooms that stay relatively cool in the summer. We have to keep the water coolers running all day when it gets hot. The teachers are mostly people from nearby areas who have been with us for years. There is always a stack of notebooks waiting to be checked in the staff room. We teach the usual subjects and try to keep the kids focused on their exams. The lunch break is the loudest time of the day, with everyone running around the small courtyard. We don't have a lot of fancy technology, just basic books and blackboards. Most of the families around here are quite close, so we end up knowing the parents and even the grandparents. It’s a very local way of doing things. The office can get a bit messy with all the registers, but we know where everything is. It’s just a normal, everyday school where we try to do our best by the kids who come here.
